EasyJet appoints Blick Rothenberg boss as non-exec
Bob Rothenburg joins Sir Stelios at easyJet
EasyJet
has appointed a senior partner from the London-based accountancy
firm Blick
Rothenberg as a non-executive director.
The airline company’s founder, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, appointed Bob
Rothenberg to join the board with effect from 1 August 2009.
Sir Stelios said: ‘I have known Bob in his professional capacity for many
years and I am delighted that he has accepted the board’s invitation to join
easyJet. I am sure the company will benefit from his expertise.’
Bob Rothenberg, 59 years-old, has served a partner in Blick Rothenberg since
1979, becoming senior partner in 1997. In 2007 he was awarded an MBE for
services to business and to the community in London.
