    New FD at property developer

    James Corr, a 46-year old chartered accountant, has been appointed group financedirector of property developer Berkeley Group.

    Corr will report to group managing director Tony Pidgley and will take over inJuly from group chairman Roger Lewis who has been acting as interim financedirector.

    A group finance director for the last five years at Polypipe, the plasticsbuilding material manufacturer, Corr has more than 20 years in the engineering,manufacturing and contracting sectors.

    He is a Scottish chartered accountant.

    Pidgley said: ‘We have been looking for the right candidate for some time andJames Corr has the right experience.’
