Chartered accountant who shepherded Damovo through administration gets commercial vehicle hire company finance role
Northgate has appointed Robert Contreras, an accountant whose previous
experience includes shepherding a private-equity owned company through
administration, as its new FD.
The commercial vehicle hire group made the
announcement
to the stock exchange today.
His most recent appointment was as managing director of the surgical division
of Molnlycke Healthcare Group.
Prior to that he had been chief executive and CFO of Damovo, a private equity
backed group which went through administration in the time Contreras was a
director.
Contreras was also a director of Enterprise Digital Architects SpA, a company
registered in Italy, from 16 January 2006 to 9 May 2007, a company which was
declared bankrupt on 22 November 2007, Northgate disclosed.
Steve Smith, chief executive of Northgate, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome
Robert to Northgate and look forward to his contribution as the Company
continues the execution of its strategic plan.’
