Senior finance appointments for PKL Holdings after boardroom shakeup.
Two new senior finance staff have been appointed at PKL Holdings following a boardroom shakeup. Link: Former HBoS FD joins WHSmith
Barry Day will become the healthcare and foodservice business’s new finance director, following an announcement earlier this year by current FD Tim Lowe’s that he was leaving for ‘personal reasons’.
Day will also serve as managing director of PKL’s foodservice division, but will be aided in the finance function by an – as yet unnamed – appointment in the newly-created role of group financial controller.
Day is the former chief executive at Evenser Group Limited, and previously spent 10 years with exhibition, event and data services company MES Holdings, working as finance director and, subsequently, MD.
He is an ICAEW member and a director of consultancy firm Monkjack.
