Major accolade for KMPG tax director

Emma Baylis included in Management Today’s '35 Women Under 35' list

Emma
Baylis, director of M&A tax at KPMG
, has been recognised as an
outstanding young women in business by being included in
Management Today’s ’35
Women Under 35′ list.

Baylies, just 32, is one of KPMG’s youngest female directors. She joined the
firm eight years ago, and now deals with the tax aspects of all corporate
transactions, including private equity.

She did not go to university and initially joined the accountancy profession,
aged 19.

Commenting on her achievement, she said: ‘I am grateful to my colleagues in
KPMG who have supported me in providing the opportunities and environment where
young women are encouraged to succeed. I am delighted to have been recognised in
the company of so many other accomplished young women from such varied walks of
life”
