Directors at collapsed firm Wenham Major are snapped up quickly by rival firms in the Midlands
Accountants Bloomer Heaven have appointed John Edwards and Kari Campbell,
formerly of collapsed Midlands-firm Wenham Major.
Edwards will take over as head of corporate finance, while Campbell will lead
tax consultancy at the Birmingham-based firm.
Chris Stephen-Haynes, managing director of Bloomer Heaven, said: ‘We are
delighted that John and Kari have come on board to help build on the services we
are able to offer our clients. Both bring first rate credentials in their
respective fields, and are extremely well respected within the Midlands’
professional services community.’
Wenham Major entered administration in mid-May after joint owner Ammar Azam
announced an internal probe had uncovered ‘financial irregularities’ in the
firm’s private client subsidiary, which was founded by co-owner John Joyce.
Administrators from Vantis are currently conducting a forensic examination
after selling off the main parts of the business.
