Waugh Haines Rigby and Morgan & Co merge to create one of the biggest firms in Gloucestershire
Two firms in Tewkesbury have merged to create one of the largest practices in
Gloucestershire.
Waugh Haines Rigby (WHR) and Morgan & Co have joined forces to create a
single practice, Morgan Waugh.
Michael Morgan, the founding partner of Morgan & Co, becomes managing
partner for the combined firms. Morgan & Co secured funding from Barclays to
complete the merger.
WHR is a specialist in tax and audit functions and Morgan & Co has
expertise in wages and bookkeeping.
Michael Morgan, said: “We have steadily expanded over the years at Morgan
& Co and developed a very loyal client base.”
The merger will allow Morgan & Co “the opportunity to offer expert
services in a range of new areas for our clients and we’re delighted to be able
to share our expertise with the clients of Waugh Haines Rigby,” he added.
