Capgemini has appointed Mark Porter as managing director of its consulting and technology division in the UK and Ireland.
Since joining Capgemini in 1990, Porter has held a number of senior management positions in the consulting and technology divisions of the group, most recently as head of technology services for the UK and Ireland.
As MD, Porter will aim to build on Capgemini’s strong position in the public sector as well as grow the firm’s private sector business in markets such as financial services, manufacturing, retail and telecoms.Porter succeeds Clive Williams, who will be retiring to focus on other business interests after 16 years with the company.
Guy Warren, UK MD of financial services for LogicaCMG has been appointed the firm’s UK CEO.
Warren, profiled in the July issue of Management Consultancy, will take up the position with immediate effect but will continue to work within financial services.
LogicaCMG has also announced that Jim McKenna is its new COO, while Nick Caplan takes over the role of international lines of business director from Bernd Lantermann at the end of June.
