Fredholm replaces Felix Weber, who stood down in January after a black hole of around £30m was found in the company accounts. He joins in June, leaving his post at Deutsche Post World Net, where he spent seven years, most recently as head of the group’s value creation program.
Fredholm will have to deal with the aftermath that his predecessor left behind which is still under investigation by lawyers and the SEC.
