Hippe signals intention to leave car parts supplier and move to ThyssenKrupp
Continental’s chief financial officer is set to leave the German car parts
supplier in yet another departure for senior management.
Alan Hippe is scheduled to announce his resignation to the supervisory board
of Continental on Saturday, according to
ft.com
Hippe’s resignation comes just six months after former chief executive
Manfred Wennemer left the business. It is thought a power struggle with main
shareholder Schaeffler is behind the resignations.
Hippe will begin his tenure at ThyssenKrupp as joint CFO with Ulrich
Middelmann.
