Another retailer enters administration
Grant Thornton partners serve as adminstrators at Hamsard 2353
Administrators have been appointed to retailing group Hamsard 2353, after
suffering a poor Christmas period.
Operating under the QS and Bwise brands, with 4,500 staff across 343 stores,
Hamsard are working with Grant Thornton partners to restructure the business.
Malcolm Shierson, joint administrator, said there would be some ‘short-term
pain’ in the form of store closures and redundancies, but administrators were
confident of the retailer’s prospects as a going concern.
