AHL Business Assurance boosts firm’s governance and risk practice
Moore Stephens has boosted its risk and governance practice with the
acquisition of internal audit boutique AHL Business Assurance Limited.
The buy-out gives Moore Stephens access to ALH’s significant internal audit
client base in the public sector, including departments, agencies and
non-departmental public bodies.
The two directors of AHL, Sarah Hillary and Robert Noye Allen, become
partners in Moore Stephens and their staff join the firm’s governance, risk and
assurance team.
“Demand for governance, risk and assurance services is increasing not only in
the public sector, but across the private sector, most notably in the regulated
markets,” said Colin Moore, managing partner at Moore Stephens. “Meeting the
demands of both best practice and the regulators is now critical for many
businesses and with the AHL team’s skills sets and credentials, we will be even
better placed to help them.”
