Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu board of directors has elected Piet Hoogendoorn as chairman of the global accountancy firm, succeeding Edward Kangas and Koji Tajika who served as co-chairmen.
Hoogendoorn, who has been managing partner of Deloitte & Touche Netherlands for the last 10 years, previously served as global vice-chairman. He will take up his new role in the second half of 2001.
