E&Y's insolvency chief lined up for Metronet
E&Y's insolvency chief Alan Bloom is lined up to handle the Metronet administration, having previously worked on Railtrack and Leeds United
Ernst & Young’s insolvency head Alan Bloom has been lined up to handle
the potential administration of struggling rail operator Metronet,
according to reports .
Adminstrators were expected to be called in to Metronet at some point this
week, after it failed to receive funds from the government that it needed to
continue to operate.
Bloom oversaw the year-long administration of Railtrack, which saw E&Y
make £20m from its advisory work. He also worked with Garry Wilson as joint
administrator of Leeds United FC in 2004.
