Accountants have been thwarted for a second day in their attempts to file PAYEs online to the Inland Revenue.
Accountancy Age has fielded calls from accountants, fed up that the system is down for a second day in a row. Wednesday was the first day that accountants were able to file PAYE online.
The Revenue’s website says that the system is ‘busy’, and users should ‘try again tomorrow’.
A Revenue spokesman said that the system was suffering ‘teething problems’, but staff were working very hard to rectify the problem.
