Taking stock - Hereditary nature of accountancy.

Scientists who gave us Dolly the sheep could soon start the search for a gene to clone accountants. A Pannell Kerr Forster partner, Jonathan Mounsey, who lives in Chester, may be the living evidence scientists need. Mr Mounsey’s great great grandfather Edward was founder member of the 130-year-old Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants, and Mounsey was president of the august body himself five years ago. Recently, the man who embodies the phrase ‘accountancy is in the blood’ also became president of the Chester and North Wales Society of Chartered Accountants. The Society holds its 130th annual dinner next Tuesday.
