JD Edwards moves into outsourcing
US developer JD Edwards has set up a Network Application Services division to take on outsourcing projects for firms needing fast implementation of IT systems to handle year 2000 and EMU.
It plans to partner IBM Global Services and World Technology Services and is evaluating UK demand for the service.
De Facto package
Ipswich-based De Facto Software has introduced a Windows-based Accounting, Logistics and Costing package. It includes stock control and purchase order processing modules and costs from z10,000 for a five-user system. Details from 01473 230202.
New PS Financials module
Peterborough Software has introduced a Report Writer module for its PS Financials application. Version 4 of PS Report Writer uses a Windows wizard to guide users through the design process using similar commands to the Excel spreadsheet. The module is included in the price.
