Xansa announces 430 to go
Information technology and outsourcing group, Xansa, has ended a dismal year by announcing 430 job cuts.

Hilary Cropper, chairman of the group, which provides accountancy services to BT, said market conditions were the worst she had ever encountered in her career and there is little evidence of a turnaround.
‘We have decided to plan for a flat market for the rest of this financial year and the rest. It’s prudent to assume things are not going to get better,’ said Cropper.
The job cuts will happen over the next four months and represent about 7% of the groups global workforce.
