Defence contractor names Logica deputy as its new CFO, replacing Doug Webb
QinetiQ, the defence and security group spun out of the Ministry of Defence,
has appointed David Mellors as its CFO.
Mellors will start in August 2008 and is currently the deputy CFO of Logica.
He had earlier spent time with Rio Tinto and at Price Waterhouse.
Sir John Chisholm, chairman of QinetiQ, said: ‘I am delighted that David will
be joining QinetiQ. He has extensive experience of working in a Plc environment,
knowledge of the technology and services industry and a strong track record of
working in overseas markets. On behalf of the Board, I welcome him to QinetiQ
and look forward to him making a significant contribution to the development of
the Group.’
Current CFO Doug Webb is leaving to become CFO at the London Stock Exchange.
