Zolfo Cooper is overseeing the liquidation of the Cheshire-based unit of
Irish firm Pierse Construction.
Pierse Contracting (UK) had employed around 60 people. The property downturn
had hit the business, and it was owed a ‘substantial figure’ by debtors,
reported the Sunday Business Post.
Staff were owed between £110,000 and £130,000.
