All-party group launches inquiry into non-dom reforms

The government’s controversial reforms to non-dom taxation prompted MPs to
launch an all-party inquiry into the changes.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the group will be chaired by Ian
Liddell-Grainger, who has described HM Revenue & Customs’ consultation on
the changes as flawed.

The group claims it has received evidence that HMRC deliberately cut the
consultation period, which ends today, short. The group has vowed to investigate
the matter.
