ICAEW awards Winweb accreditation for its online accounting product

The ICAEW has awarded its first product accreditation to an online accounting
software product.

The accreditation, made to Winweb’s AccountsOffice product, comes as vendors
ramp up efforts to encourage the accounting profession to take up software as a
service.

Sage recently announced that it will offer Sage Line 50 as a web-hosted
product.
Craig McLellan of the ICAEW said: ‘Winweb has become the first and currently
only purely online accounting software that is recognised under the ICAEW
Accredited IT Product Scheme.’
