    Pensions penalty for Grant Thornton over deadline failures

    Grant Thornton has been fined £2,000 by the English ICA for failure to meet deadlines relating to pensions reviews.

    In a statement, the insititute’s Financial Services Authorisation Committee said:’Grant Thornton has agreed to pay a regulatory penalty of £2,000 in respect of its admitted breach of Regulation 3.35(e) which resulted from its failure to meet the deadline for completion of Phase 1 of the Pension Transfer and Opt Outs review in respect of four cases.’
