Access launches upgrade for Opera users
An upgrade utility from Access Accounts allows users to transfer data from Pegasus Opera.
According to Access the transfer of data has been ‘reduced to the press of a button and an hour or two of unattended machine time’.
‘We have updated a lot of Opera users to Access Dimensions over the years,’said Chris Bayne MD of Armstrong Consultants.
‘We used to export all the Opera data file by file, then massage each file, and then import the files into Access one at a time and in a strict sequence.’
To encourage users to switch to Access, the company is offering a 40% discount for Opera users who switch to Access’ Dimensions.
