TransTec report author gets non-exec post

Hugh Aldous, who along with lawyer Roger Kaye, authored last month's damning report on the collapse of engineering group TransTec, has secured a non-executive position at a fund manager.

Aldous, a forensic lead partner at Robson Rhodes and former managing partner at the firm, was appointed as non-exec at Henderson TR Pacific, a division of Henderson Global Investors, the UK fund management firm.

As co-author of the DTI’s TransTec report, Aldous was particularly scathing in his attack on PricewaterhouseCoopers, the former auditors of TransTec.

His other previous appointments include past chairman of RSM International and former member of The Competition Commission.
