ICT services group CMG has teamed up with e-CRM software supplier to provide a service that will allow companies to expand their markets, sales and customer services activities through the use of Internet-enabled mobile phones.


Betrusted, a unit of PwC that offers trust services for Internet transactions, has been selected by online chemicals supplier ChemResult as its security solutions provider.

Altitude Software/Point Information Systems

Customer interaction software provider Altitude Software has agreed a co-marketing agreement with CRM solutions provider Point Information Systems. It is the first step towards delivering a combined e-CRM solution. Point will deliver Altitude’s interaction management products as part of its offering.

Scottish Amicable/Sema/Elonex

Scottish Amicable has agreed a business continuity contract with Sema and Elonex, giving it instant access to their Business Recovery Centre in the event of a business interruption.


Software integration supplier Viewlocity is to provide e-business and distribution software developer Robocom with connectivity solutions. Viewlocity will provide standard connectors between Robocom applications and leading ERP and legacy applications.

Transora/Ariba/i2 Technologies

B2B e-marketplace Transora has selected Ariba and i2 to power its portal for food and consumer products. They will provide software that will enable Transora to build a comprehensive, open marketplace.

Smartlogik/Valid Information Systems

Smartlogik has agreed a deal to supply its fourth generation search and indexing technology with Valid’s document management solution.

Documentum/British Petroleum

E-business applications service provider Documentum is to supply BP with its 4i eBusiness Edition. It is the first part of BP’s strategy to introduce the latest digital technologies to enhance its business performance.

Altitude Software/Hyder Business Services

Altitude has won a contract to supply Hyder with a blended call centre software solution for its 300-seat customer care centre.

Lloyd’s/Albany Software

The administrative centre of the Lloyd’s of London insurance market has selected Albany to provide e-transaction-enabling software in a contract worth £5,000. Lloyd’s also uses Albany’s BACS solution, ALBACS.

Waterford Crystal/Diagonal/SAP

Consultancy Diagonal is to help Waterford Crystal implement a new integrated SAP system.

Timberland/eGain Communications

Retailer Timberland has chosen customer service provider eGain to provide an online customer service strategy.

Tesco/Tibbett & Britten

Logistics specialist Tibbett & Britten has won a major outsourcing deal with Tesco, to cover the management of a new food distribution centre in West Thurrock, Essex and secondary distribution services from the centre. The three-year contract is worth £20m a year and will create 600 new jobs.

i2 Technologies/ehospitalSystems

E-solutions provider i2 has announced a partnership with eHospitalSystems to provide a B2B e-commerce solution for the European healthcare supply market. The service will link healthcare suppliers and hospitals to streamline procurement and generate cost efficiencies.


Leisurehunt has announced a deal with to develop websites for hotels and guestrooms to complement its existing online hotel search and booking service.

Syzygy/J Walter Thompson/Mazda

E-business solutions firm Syzygy is to help Mazda upgrade and integrate its website. J Walter Thompson will provide the brand advertising solution.


B2B software company Spaceworks has formed an alliance with PricewaterhouseCoopers to provide worldwide e-business solutions, consulting and integration services.
