Reed gets £1.3m Standard Life payoff
Insurance giant shells out seven-figure sum to its former FD after parting company with her in acrimonius circumstances
Alison Reed has won more than £1.3m from her former employers at Standard
Life after her surprise exit in 2006.
The former FD of the insurance company received £1.135m in cash, including
£97,500 for legal fees. The remainder of the settlement was made up of bonus and
share awards.
Reed left the company in October 2006, but found herself at odds with
Standard Life in respect of compensation.
According to Standard Life’s
annual
report, the company settled the dispute with Reed last November.
