PKF staff to get free flu jab
Top ten firm PKF is offering its entire nationwide staff a free flu vaccination to reduce the costly problem of employee sick days.

The firm employs nearly 1,300 professional staff. A spokesperson for PKF said that ‘anyone who wanted it would receive the flu vaccine free of charge’.
Nicola Blundell, HR manager at PKF said the firm was implementing the move in a bid to maintain healthy staff, ic Birmingham.co.uk reported.
‘It is something we want to offer to staff across the board to look after their welfare. We hope to cut down the number of sick days,’ Blundell added.
It is estimated that absence days cost companies £567 per employee each year, the majority of this due to flu.
