Oracle UK FD Green to depart
Oracle FD Norman Green to leave later in the year for international law firm
Oracle UK finance director Norman Green is set to leave the business software
provider to join international law firm Herbert Smith as COO.
Green, who served as director of finance at Andersen UK before joining Oracle
in 1998, will manage the firm’s support functions worldwide in conjunction with
its executive committee.
The role will also include responsibility for finance, Green told
Accountancy Age.
He added that he expected to move into his new job ‘in November or December’.
‘We are all immensely proud of Norman’s latest achievement, though very sorry
to see him leave after more than seven years at Oracle,’ said Ian Smith, Oracle
UK managing director. ‘We wish Norman all the best in his new role.’
