Accounting issue sees retailer delay results

Claire's Stores forced to delay results

Costume jewellery and accessories retailer
Claire’s Stores has been
forced to delay its 2007 fourth-quarter results.

According to Reuters, this is to ‘pre-clear an accounting issue relating to
lease rights for stores in France’.

The retailer said it expects to meet or exceed its prior fourth quarter and
fiscal 2007 guidance.
