A Football League spokesman said there would be no more extensions to the deadline and if nothing is resolved by next month, the oldest professional club will be kicked out of the league.
‘There have been numerous deadlines which have come and gone but this is the final deadline and time is marching on.
‘If they do not come out of administration by December 9, they will be out of the League,’ said the spokesman.
Administrator Paul Finnity is meeting League officials on Wednesday. The club’s main hope seems to rest on a £3m buy-out by the Blenheim consortium.
The buy-out was supposed to have been finalised by the end of last month but as yet there is no deal.
County have been in administration for 17 months. The club was founded in 1862.
