Further closures for Swallow Group

Three hotels and 15 managed pubs of the
London &
Edinburgh Swallow Group
have been closed by administrators from Ernst &
Young.

Having explored every possible avenue to save these sites since being
appointed administrators on 14 September, E&Y was not able to find any
buyers.

Angela
Swarbrick,
joint administrator, said: ‘It is unfortunate that despite
negotiation with interested parties, it has not been possible to conclude a sale
of these hotels and pubs to secure their long term future. Regretfully, we are
no longer able to continue trading the sites affected.’
