London Underground's accounts have come under attack for being 'misleading'. AccountancyAge.com has launched an online software buyers guide to help buyers find the products and services most suited to them.

The attack on the Underground’s accounts comes from a senior partner at Smith & Williamson, but is being robustly denied by LU which is preparing a technical refution.

Also this week, AccountancyAge.com brings the first full interview with new CIPFA chief Steve Freer since he took the helm of the public sector body.

Meanwhile, the medium sector is beginning to flex its muscles in the public sector, with BKR Haines Watts leading the way.

AccountancyAge.com has this week launched a new Software Buyers Guide, which enables financial professionals to search for the suppliers and products which best suit their needs. It can be accessed by clicking on the yellow icon at the top of AccountancyAge.com pages.

A new Web Directory, containing hundreds of useful links, can be accessed by clicking on the button under ‘Essentials’ on the left-hand side of AccountancyAge.com pages.

The Barcelona competition, which gives visitors to the site a chance to win a luxury weekend in the lively Spanish city, continues until April 7. Please tell any colleagues you think might be interested.
