ACCA doors open to the public
ACCA today opened its council meetings to the public for the first time in its 99-year history as part of sweeping changes to its workings.
The agenda for the meeting – which was well attended by non-ACCA members and the press – included developments related to the implementation of the regulatory review, member exclusions and stakeholder pension scheme regulations.
It was decided at a council meeting in November to offer greater transparency, and further changes to the workings of the body are expected.
The next open meeting will be on 19 April, followed by another on 13 September.
