North west accountancy firm Hurst has opened a corporate finance and tax office in Manchester. Hurst Corporate Transactions will have five partners and specialise in deals of up to £20m. The firm also has offices in Stockport and Liverpool and employs a total of 60 staff. In the last 12 months deals completed by the firm include the sale of the satellite communications division of Siemens to Marconi and the buy-out of Booth Dispensers.
