Huntleigh Technology, the listed medical engineering and services group, has appointed a new finance director as part of its management reshuffle following the death of its founder Rolf Schild earlier this year.

Craig Smith, previously finance director of Sun Chemical Inks, Europe and before that chief financial Officer, Paxar Europe, was appointed to the Huntleigh board this week.
Smith is the first non-family member to join the board directly on appointment.
He takes the place of Julian Schild, who will continue as chairman, taking on the role that was previously held by his father.
