CIPFA launches new accountancy qualification
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy has launched a new accountancy qualification as part of its drive to raise standards.

The qualification is complemented by the launch of a continuing professional development scheme.
CIPFA said the new qualification had an increased emphasis on practical accounting, managing and business skills. It also brings in greater flexibility and accessibility to facilitate employers as the qualification will be offered to all categories of staff.
The new package will be launched at the CIPFA Health Conference on 25 September.
