KPMG to move HQ to Canary Wharf

Firm announces new purpose-built building to house two thirds of staff by 2009

KPMG is to move its HQ to Canary Wharf, it said today.

The firm, which is currently headquartered in Salisbury Square off Fleet
Street, is in talks with the Canary Wharf group to take up a new 400,000 square
foot purpose built HQ, which it would anticipate moving into in 2009.

About two thirds of KPMG’s partners and staff would be located in Canary
Wharf from 2009. The firm would maintain the Blackfriars office for the medium
to long term, it added.
