BDO Stoy Hayward will gain a foothold in the FTSE 100 audit market when
Randgold Resources is catapulted into the top flight index.
The gold miner is set to take its place among the top 100 listed UK plcs
after the latest quarterly review of listed companies, giving BDO a FTSE 100
audit client for the first time in two years.
PartyGaming crashed out of the index in 2006 after the US slapped a ban on
overseas companies providing online gaming services to American citizens.
Stagecoach Group, Lonmin, Wood Group Fresnillo and Petrofac will leave the
FTSE 100 to be replaced by retailer Home Retail Group, business services company
Serco, Randgold, Tate & Lyle and insurer Amlin.
The changes will take place from 22 December, the FTSE group said.
