The 36 partners takes the total figure for new PwC partners in the UK to 43 so far this year, and offers further evidence of the continuing economic upturn.

Of the new partners, 17 have been admitted to the assurance practice, 12 to the advisory practice and 14 to the tax practice.

‘This high level of partner admissions demonstrates our continued confidence in the future and desire to provide our clients with the best skills and experience in assurance, tax and advisory,’ said Kieran Poynter, PwC chairman
