The latest PricewaterhouseCoopers/Confederation of British Industry survey has predicted e-business will expand less rapidly in the first quarter of 2001, in line with a general slowdown in business growth in the financial services sector. The CBI said the most critical barrier to the expansion of internet business was a general lack of understanding among both customers and suppliers of e-business.
