Results on ice as Jamies Bar FD still on leave

Urvashi Parekh remains on compassionate leave, leading to the postponement of Food and Drink group's numbers

The Food and Drink group has been forced to shelve the publication of its
annual results because its FD has been on compassionate leave since December.

The AIM-quoted company said that it full year numbers would not be released
until January 28 as Urvashi Parekh takes a break from her duties.

The Food and Drink group operate more than 30 drinking establishments under
the Henry J Beans and Jamies Bar banners.

Pretax profits are set to be £0.6m, down from £0.93m in 2006 and the
company’s shares crashed 112.5p to 98p as the City reacted to the news.
