The company, which produces games such as David Beckham Soccer and Rocky, will today publish is annual results – delayed from last week – which will include a £1m provision against payments due from US distributor Majesco.

The firm’s auditor BDO Stoy Haward insisted that Rage made a provision to cover the outstanding sum that the software company is now chasing through the courts.

Rage, which was recently forced into a $5m share sale in order to keep trading, had originally been expected to post a pre-tax loss of £9m.
