Steve Warrener, the former finance director for
Manchester Airport, has been
appointed as the new finance and corporate services director at the
Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive
Warrener, 41 has joined from Manchester Airports Group where his roles included
head of group finance, FD for Manchester Airport and most recently FD for the
property and development arm of Manchester Airports Group, MADL.
He has previously worked for KPMG in audit and corporate finance in
Liverpool, Manchester and Australia.
Speaking about his appointment, Warrener said: ‘I am delighted to have joined
GMPTE at such an important time for transport in Greater Manchester. It is an
ambitious organisation with a bright and exciting future ahead and I am looking
forward to getting started.’
