Toby Underwood joins BDO Stoy Hayward's Leeds office as business restructuring partner

The Leeds office of BDO Stoy Hayward has boosted its partner numbers to 12,
with the appointment of Toby Underwood as business restructuring partner.

Underwood will be part of the firm’s growing business restructuring team and
work alongside BDO Stoy Hayward partner, Charles Macmillan.

‘My focus will be working with financial institutions, intermediaries and
corporates to provide partner-led advice and solutions to ensure that during
times of difficulties businesses can access expert advice to help them on the
road to recovery,’ he said.

Underwood spent 15 years working for leading business organisations in London
and the north. He established Bank of Scotland’s mid-value high risk team in
Manchester before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he has run its South
Yorkshire business recovery services practice for the past two and a half years.
