Everyday is a Monday at PwC Consulting
Monday is generally most people's least favourite day of the week. But despite the negative connotations, the consultancy arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers is to rename itself 'Monday'.
For most, Monday invokes feelings of angst. Feelings run so high about this day of the week that Monday has inspired many a song, the most famous of which being the Boomtown Rats’ ‘I don’t like Mondays’.
For PwC Consulting however, Monday is ‘wake up early, expect chemistry, relish challenge and tell the truth’.
The rebranding exercise has cost the business $110m (£75m) just weeks ahead of its initial public offering expected to happen this summer. The consulting arm will take on its new name once it has separated from PwC.
