    McGregor to portray accountant in thriller

    Star Wars star teams up with Hugh Jackman in New York film

    Filming will begin next week in New York on a new thriller, which will centre
    around an ‘accounting consultant’ played by Star Wars and Trainspotting star,
    Ewan McGregor.

    According to reports from Hollywood, McGregor will team up with Hugh Jackman
    and Michelle Williams in ‘The Tourist’, a psychological thriller set in
    clandestine New York City sex clubs.

    McGregor plays an accounting consultant who, while passing from one job to
    another, meets a charismatic, womanising lawyer (played by Jackman) who
    personifies everything the accountant wishes he could be.

    Jackman’s character then introduces him to a mysterious sex club known as The
    List, but McGregor’s character soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman’s
    disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist.

    Filming begins on 13 October in New York.
