Managing partner from US restructuring group, Laura Barlow, to take FD role at stricken UK transport group
Sea Containers
, the London-based transport group in chapter 11 bankruptcy, is to appoint
restructuring expert Laura Barlow as its new finance director as it attempts to
pull itself out of financial difficulty.
Barlow, a managing partner of US restructuring group Alix Partners, is set to
takeover from Ian Durant, who will remain on the Sea Containers board,
the Sunday
Times reports.
Sea Containers, the parent company of train group
GNER , has been
overwhelmed by debt and was forced to seek the shelter of US chapter 11
bankruptcy rules last year.
