Mid-tier firm evacuates London HQ
Mid-tier firm Grant Thornton is evacuating its London office following demonstrations by anti-capitalist protestors.
The firm came under siege at lunchtime today when demonstrators gathered outside its offices. Police penned in about 300 protestors who were behaving peacefully despite being held.
It is believed the firm is not being targeted directly by the protestors, but is located next door to the headquarters of Railtrack.
Previously the firm was to close at 5pm. But with demonstrations going on right outside the firm, bosses have decided to close early.
