For an insight into the canny business sense that makes a Big Five firm a Big Five firm, look no further than last week's return of Andersen's annual design awards to the firm's London HQ.

Under the theme ‘Knowledge is an organisation’s DNA’, some 22 budding Damien Hirsts from Chelsea College of Art and Design spent vast amounts of time and thought on their entries in the hope of winning a #500 cheque from the firm.

But TS wonders whether the firm should suggest the money is a prize or simply a sale.
